Kaley Schaller, M.S., CCC-SLP
Kaley is a licensed speech language pathologist with experience in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and Early Intervention. Although she specializes in early developing communication, she has experience with children of all ages. Kaley believes that creating a strong foundation in language and identifying oral-motor risk factors at a young age is key to building an effective communicator. She believes in child-led therapy, which focuses on the child's interest in play. Kaley is a recipient of the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association’s Award for Continuing Education. She has training in TalkTools Oral Placement Therapy and Simon Says Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.
As a mother of 2 young daughters, Kaley understands the importance of finding a provider who listens and involves the family in therapy. She is passionate about addressing parental concerns in order to build confidence and carry-over strategies at home. Therefore, Kaley provides therapy in the family's home, as this is the child's most comfortable environment, while decreasing the family's stress of trying to commute to an additional appointment. Kaley's goal is to create a trusting relationship and provide strategies to children and their family in order to thrive in the areas of speech and language.
